With the start of the lovely season, we return to taking care of our gardens. Naturally, if we left them alone all winter, they now need some fixing to get back to their former beauty. While this might seem costly at first, it really isn’t. A fresh coat of paint, cleaning and fixing furniture, looking after plants, and so on.
Another idea could be to fix the garden fence, and for this, we have gathered images and suggestions for decorating your garden fence today. These ideas are very affordable to create, fairly easy, and genuinely enjoyable.
With 3D butterflies. We can create them ourselves using paper or metal, or we can purchase them already made. As shown in the picture, butterflies make a fantastic addition to the garden fence.
With an old piece of furniture. We all have an old piece of furniture that we think about tossing, but we never find the time to do so. After seeing this idea, you will likely feel inspired to try it. An old piece of furniture or a part of it works perfectly for decorating the garden fence.
Planters: 10 perfect models for small terraces
With hubcaps. If we take some hubcaps, paint them in any color we like, hang them on the wooden fence, and draw a stem underneath them, we will create unique and playful flowers that will beautify our garden fence.
With frames. This idea works wonderfully indoors, so it’s no surprise that hanging empty frames outside is effective for decorating your garden fence.
With flowers. Out of all the ideas we see, I can’t think of anything better to enhance the garden fence than using beautiful flowers, and it’s even better if we hang them in an organized manner.

With a painted mural . Do you like painting? Do you know a friend who knows her? Look how beautiful a painted mural decorates your garden fence.
Types of bathroom tiles
Period furnishings. The gardens have a particular beauty due to the nature that surrounds them, and the vintage decoration elevates the concept of delicacy to the category of art. And if we put them together, the result is… fascinating.
With birdhouses . A wonderful idea for decorating the garden fence, without a doubt. Decorate it with birdhouses. Very appropriate.
With wool. I have already seen this idea for decorating the interior. And as you can see now, it works very well for outdoors too.
With wells . The botines, as you can see in the image at the bottom of these lines, can serve perfectly as vases and, although it is obvious, the vases are equally good for decorating the garden fence.
Creative and relaxing ideas for furnishing your terrace with furniture
With recycled wooden boxes . Another idea that I have seen many times for decorating interiors. Use recycled wooden boxes, but this time to decorate the garden fence.
With tyres. Some time ago I published an article in which I saw some ideas for decorating the garden with tires, but we don’t stop publishing this magnificent idea even if it is repeated. As you can see, with simple recycled tires we can decorate the garden fence. We can paint them a single color, create an original mosaic or add plants, never.
With old windows. Old wooden windows have a special charm. And if we know how to exploit this charm, we will be able to use them to decorate the garden fence in a very original way. In this case, in the image below, they added glass to the windows, although if they hadn’t, the wooden windows would still have decorated the garden fence very beautifully.
With balls . Yes, with balls. Although it may seem strange when you read it for the first time, when you see the picture, it shows that if we make holes in the wooden fence and put some marbles inside them, the garden fence can be perfectly decorated with marble. When the sunlight hits the balls, it is projected on the other side in the form of flashes of colour. A magnificent idea.
With dragonflies made from fan blades and table legs. Well, to create the original dragonflies that decorate the fence of our garden you need nothing more than table legs and fan blades.
